The Essential Phone is down to a mesmerizingly low price of just $223.99 for a limited period of time. It runs Android Pie right out of the box.
At a time where high-end flagship smartphones now seem to routinely cost $1,000, the chance of getting an excellent phone at a great price tends to be left to Chinese brands like Huawei and the like. That’s great because phones like the Huawei P20 are awesome, but sometimes you want something a little bit different especially considering ongoing privacy concerns surrounding the big Chinese brands.
That’s where Essential’s Essential Phone comes into play because while it also shipped with a huge price on day one, it can now be had for considerably less. Normally sold for around $599.99 nowadays, you can get the 128GB Essential phone for less than $345 if you plump for the Black color version and less than $223.99 in Halo Gray. And oh, those options are completely unlocked which means that they’ll play nicely on the carrier of your choice.
Reviews of the Essential Phone since its launch have been mixed, however there is one thing that most of them can agree on. At launch, the phone was overpriced but solid. With the huge price reduction it saw, even before this deal, that issue is no longer in play which makes this quite the bargain, especially considering the specifications it boasts.
