Grand Theft Auto: Vice City Screenshots For iOS And Android Revealed [IMAGES]

Ben Reid·December 4, 2012
Rockstar Games' iconic Grand Theft Auto: Vice City is ten years old would you believe, and to commemorate the release, the game developer is pushing a reworked version out to those wielding the popular mobile devices. Both iOS and Android will be getting a taste of Vice City on their smartphones and tablets this holiday, and with the release date just days away now, Rockstar has done what it so frequently does, and released some screenshots.

You Can Jailbreak iOS 6.1 Beta 3 On Select iPhone And iPod touch Devices

Ben Reid·December 4, 2012
Keeping up on the jailbreak coverage is something we strive towards here at Redmond Pie, and in light of the recent release of iOS 6.1 beta 3 to developers, we've got the low-down on how you can jailbreak this latest firmware preview. Of course, it's a tethered jailbreak for Pre-A5 based devices, so if you're rocking a brand new iPhone 5, an iPhone 4S, iPad 2/3/4, iPod touch 5th-gen or iPad mini, you unfortunately won't be able to enjoy the perks of the jailbreak, laid on - as ever - by the iPhone Dev Team's Redsn0w tool. If, however, your device is susceptible to the Limera1in exploit (basically any device I didn't mention above that isn't completely antiquated), then you can enjoy a tethered break right now - details after the jump.

To-do Lists Mobile For iOS Is A Slick, Minimal App That Helps You Dissect Your Busy Schedule

Ben Reid·December 3, 2012
Of all the various apps currently gracing Apple's iTunes Store, the to-do list offerings rank right up there with the note-takers as the most common. There are literally hundreds of apps claiming to have the perfect combination of interface and features to help you through even the busiest of days, but To-do Lists Mobile by AntLogic is certainly one of the best we've stumbled across so far.

Tunebooth iOS Music Player Brings Gesture-Based Simplicity And Aesthetic Beauty To Your iPhone

Ben Reid·December 3, 2012
The iOS Music app (or iPod app, if you're running on an older firmware version) is a very basic amenity, and although it does exactly what it says on the tin in playing music, it's not the most exciting experience in the world. Tunebooth Music Player by mART is everything your native player isn't, and if you like apps based on gestures, customizable layouts and dynamic theming options, it sounds as though Tunebooth is the app you've been waiting for.

Math QuizUp For iOS Lets You Pit Your Mathematical Knowledge Against Others

Paul Morris·December 2, 2012
Downloading a game that is centered around pure arithmetic might not sound like everyone's idea of a great time, especially when the App Store is home to a plethora of sporting, simulation and action games. With that said, they do say that a change is good for the soul, so where is the harm in having some fun directly from the palm of your hand while also feeding your brain the food it needs to stay active? Math QuizUp is a new game for the iPhone, iPad and iPod touch that allows a user to test their arithmetic skillsagainst other gamers in a mathematical face-off.

Grand Theft Auto: Vice City For iOS And Android Gets A Trailer Ahead Of Launch [VIDEO]

Ben Reid·December 1, 2012
Grand Theft Auto: Vice City is almost ready to make its tenth anniversary appearance on mobile devices, and in anticipation for the launch on December 6th, Rockstar has released a teaser video. By the looks of things, the game will look and run like the classic version on console, and since the release of GTA III to the small screen went down a treat, we'd expect the controls to have been adapted in a similar way for optimal gaming performance.

iPad mini And iPhone 5 Coming To China In December, Confirms Apple

Ben Reid·December 1, 2012
China may be the nucleus of Apple's very being in terms of manufacturing, but in terms of product releases, still generally has to wait until the United States, Europe, and much of the world has gotten its fill before seeing the likes of the iPhone and iPad. Today, the Cupertino company has released an official press statement, detailing the release of the iPhone 5 and iPad mini to the increasingly lucrative Chinese market, set to arrive in December.

KitCam For iPhone Snaps Onto The Scene With Powerful Photography Features And Live Effects, Filters

Paul Morris·November 30, 2012
Anyone visiting the Photos & Video category on the iOS App Store will be more than likely be aware that Apple's app marketplace is packed full of third-party camera and video apps that have been put before the public for purchase and download. Some of the offerings are fantastic and bring a whole new dimension to capturing pictures with an iOS device, while others are simply awful and don't really offer anything more than the stock Camera app in iOS. The new KitCam app from GhostBird Software definitely falls under the bracket of being a must-have for iPhone and iPod touch owning photography fans.

Unlocked iPhone 5 Now Available At Apple Stores In The U.S.

Paul Morris·November 30, 2012
The iPhone 5 has been available to the general public for just over seventy days, and although we have already seen some rough estimates of sales and user adoption, we should accept the fact that it has taken Apple over two months to get stock levels into a position to keep up with demand. In the United Kingdom, and in other several parts of Europe, we sometimes take it for granted that we can just walk into an Apple Store or visit the website and purchase an entirely SIM-free iPhone with no minimum contract, which is a luxury now afforded to American consumers across the pond directly from an Apple Store.
