Paul Morris·December 26, 2013

iOS 7 Compatible Jailbreak Tweaks And Apps In Cydia

Paul Morris·December 23, 2013
The iOS 7 untethered jailbreak is here. Things have been a little quiet recently on the topic of a public jailbreak release, leading us all to think that it could be quite some time until we were able to see how iOS 7 performs when truly set free. The good news is that the wait is finally over. The bad news is that early discussions and word from Cydia creator Jay Freeman seem to suggest that the latest Evasi0n7 release might have been rushed out before the right people could get the necessary components in place to support users.

How To Get 60% Off On Popular iOS Apps This Christmas

Ben Reid·December 21, 2013
It's that time of year again, and if you've sufficiently recovered from all the over-indulgence and big tech savings over the Thanksgiving weekend, you'll be more than ready for round two. Christmas is just around the corner, and developers usually cut the prices of their apps amid the celebrations. This is all fine and dandy, but with hundreds of thousands of entries to the famed App Store, it's hard to keep track of what's cheap and also, worth purchasing at the discounted rate. Luckily, iPhone, iPad and iPod touch users have the appropriately named App Santa at their side to help them to discover and take advantage of these bargains.

Ben Reid·December 20, 2013
As most of you will have gleaned, BlackBerry is a struggling brand just now, and the decision of the Canadian company to roll its prized BBM out to Android and iOS was seen by many as a sign of its desperation. In October, we learned that BBM for Android and iPhone was would also, at some point, offer free voice calls to other users of the app, but despite the confirmation BlackBerry's VP Andrew Bocking on its imminent arrival, it looks as though we won't be getting the feature until early on next year.

Cut The Rope 2 For iPhone And iPad Released [Download Link]

Ben Reid·December 19, 2013
Last week, developer Zeptolab released a teaser trailer of its eagerly anticipated Cut the Rope 2 release, and now, for iPhone, iPad and iPod touch users at least, it has finally made its way to the App Store. An Android version is somewhat uncertain, and the developers claim to be an iOS exclusive, but if history has taught us anything, then the Android version should bear fruit next year, in the meanwhile, if you've been waiting for your next fix of this candy-swinging adventure and just so happen to own an iOS device, early Christmas presents don't get much better than this!

EA Discounts Some Of Its Awesome iOS Games For Christmas, Here Is The Full List

Oliver Haslam·December 19, 2013
Electronic Arts has always been one for getting into the Christmas spirit by offering some pretty impressive discounts on its iOS games, and this year is no different. Perhaps it could be said that this year's sale isn't quite as special as it has been in the past, but the list of games that have been brought down to just $0.99 is still one that will have you reaching for your iPhone or iPad.

Camera+ 5.0 Released: New UI For iOS 7, Pro Editing Features And A Lot More!

Ben Reid·December 18, 2013
Camera+ has been around for a number of years on iOS, and is seen by many as the de facto alternative to the standard Camera app. It's not as though there aren't hundreds of other such utilities throughout the App Store, but Camera+ has always kept its interface simple and to-the-point, but with more features than the stock offering. It's like the Camera app that Apple should have included natively, and in-keeping with this mindset, Camera+ has just been updated for iOS 7.

Google Glass App MyGlass For iPhone Released, Download It Here

Ben Reid·December 18, 2013
Google's Glass project has been in development for a while now, but since it is based on Android and indeed, created by the Google, it has been a lot better integrated with the Big G's own mobile ecosystem. Now, though, the MyGlass companion app has finally hit the iOS App Store, meaning Glass owners rocking an iPhone can now set up and tweak their face computer using their device. Details, as well as that all-conquering download link, can be found after the break.
