Having an iPhone in your pocket is not only a one-way ticket to endless possibilities in gaming, browsing and productivity, but the native internet tethering feature ensures you have a personal hotspot right there whenever you need it. Provided, of course, you have decent cellular coverage, you can fire up your notebook, tablet, or any other Wi-Fi capable device, and connect straight to the World Wide Web. But while Apple tries to offer a helping hand by automatically generating a password for you, it has emerged that the random assortment of characters that the Cupertino company fires up for you may not be as secure as you’d hoped.

Since the launch of iOS 7 beta 1 last Monday following its announcement at WWDC, it's fair to say that not everybody has been won over. iOS 7 beta has spent the past five days firmly in the public eye, and although opinion is divided as to whether the changes are for better or in fact for worse, the consensus seems to be that the icons are a tad on the bright side. However, it now looks as though the Cupertino company has been tweaking things behind the scenes, with the official iOS 7 beta page on Apple.com showing altered, altogether more subtly toned icons. After numerous rumors and intense speculation, Microsoft's fantastic and extremely popular Office package has managed to find its way onto the iPhone. The package, which landed on Apple's App Store today, is a mobile optimized companion app that has been built from the ground up to provide access to the loved Office suite of applications directly from an iPhone. This is a fairly notable release by the Redmond company and has been expected for some time, but for some reason has managed to come with minimal fuss and a distinct lack of celebration.
