We're big fans of iOS 5 here, except that pesky battery problem of course. One of our favorite changes that Apple made to iOS in its fifth iteration was the addition of the Notification Center - a home for all your push notifications, missed calls and SMS/iMessages to live.
SwitcherLoader, a new tweak for iPhone, is now available and can be downloaded for free on a jailbroken device. Developed by Fr0zen Sun, the small tweak allows you to customize the views and plugins into the app switcher interface.

Samsung has released another ad in their series of The Next Big Thing ads in which they specifically target Apple’s iPhone and iPhone enthusiasts.
Starting with iOS 5, Apple added some new checks to ensure people stick with the latest version of iOS. This made downgrading to iOS 5 impossible using SHSH blobs saved by Cydia or TinyUmbrella. But now, thanks to iH8sn0w’s iFaith, you can downgrade from iOS 5.1 or iOS 5.0.1 to iOS 5 custom firmware as long as you have APTicket + SHSH blobs saved for it.
