While addressing graduates at Hampton University on Sunday, US President Barack Obama in his speech said that the era of iPads, iPods, Xboxes and PlayStations are a source of distraction, rather than a tool of democracy for the United States. The all-in-one untethered jailbreak tool, which was released yesterday has been updated. An issue which was reported earlier where it deleted all the saved photos on the device once the jailbreak was complete has been fixed. This update to Spirit resolves error code c0000005 which some Windows users were facing.
The official Dropbox app for iPhone has been updated to bring the much needed support for iPad. This new version 1.2 of Dropbox takes full advantage of higher resolution screen space of iPad to display files and folders in a list menu. Also added is the ability to export documents from Dropbox to third-party apps on iPad like Pages, Keynote and GoodReader.
Apple doesn’t like to kid around when they’re talking about numbers. In a press release today, Apple has revealed that they have sold 1,000,000 units in the first month of it’s launch. This according to Apple is less than half of the 74 days it took for the original iPhone EDGE to achieve the same milestone back in 2007.
