Popcorn Time, a BitTorrent service / app that allows you to stream movies, was initially thought to be fraught with legal issues and general negative baggage, but having established a strong user base on Android, Mac, Windows and a number of popular platforms, an iOS version is now just days away from releasing as promised before. It's not so much a case of Popcorn Time as iPhone Time, and what's more, the app will be able to stream content directly to Google's Chromecast as well as AirPlay devices like the Apple TV.

Samsung has a humongous marketing budget. Time and again, we see the Korean company spend lavishly on strange, interesting, and simply grandiose PR campaigns, but when it isn't renaming terminals at London's Heathrow Airport, the Galaxy maker does occasionally keep things nice and simple. Given that the Apple iPad Air is a direct competitor to the Galaxy Tab S, Samsung thought it would be a good idea to take both to the streets of NYC and record the reactions of consumers asked to compare the two.

Inconvenient indeed, but the author of the Minuum keyboard, which has a popular following on Android, has pledged its name to the long list of developers porting products over to iOS 8, and with it, confirmed that it will include a neat feature that will see the keyboard adjust in height.

There’ve been reports around for quite some time that Apple might be playing around with the idea of bringing a larger iPad to the consumers, which might end up being called the ‘iPad Pro,’ and today, Bloomberg also seems to have joined the ranks of sources that believe that the Cupertino tech giant might actually be preparing to unveil a larger, 12.9-inch iPad in the spring of 2015.
Apple has today continued its recent open communication policy with developers by sending out an email informing all participants in the iOS and OS X Developer Program of impending changes to certain iOS 8 and OS X Yosemite features.
