Developer Turns Google Glass Into A Gaming HUD For GTA 3 [IMAGE]

Paul Morris·October 5, 2013
We think it's safe to say that Rockstar's latest addition to the Grand Theft Auto gaming franchise has been an unrivalled success. The hype surrounding the release of GTA 5 was at an all time high when the title eventually went on sale last month. The game reportedly cost Rockstar more than $250 million to create, but managed to recoup more than $1 billion in opening weekend sales, which speaks for itself. So how could this year's best game actually get any better? Well, it probably couldn't, but an earlier version could allow gamers to hook up a Google Glass wearable to compliment the experience.

GTA 5 Online Update For PS3 And Xbox 360 Now Available To Download

Ben Reid·October 1, 2013
Grand Theft Auto 5 has taken the gaming world by storm, and although we've seen Call of Duty break records on an annual basis in what was becoming a one-horse race, Take Two/ Rockstar's long-awaited title has eclipsed the opening numbers of any previous CoD release. As stores continue to replenish their supplies, the game's creators have begun rolling out the online multiplayer functionality. As you might expect given the scale of the operation, there seem to be a few glitches with the service, but the take-home is that GTA Online is now in motion for both Xbox Live and Sony's PlayStation Network.

This iOS Game Lets You Play The Role Of A Hacker

Ben Reid·September 6, 2013
Hacking, as we've seen on many occasions, can be used for good as well as evil, or at least unscrupulous ends, but a new game for iOS by the name of 868-HACK plays down the wider issues by letting you have fun and essentially become a computer geek yourself. Of course, since it's made purely for entertainment, there's nothing amiss (although one suspects some App Store browsers may be initially off-put), and once you get into it, there's much fun to be had.

2K DRIVE Is An Exclusive Racing Game For iOS With Stunning Visuals And Amazing Game Modes [VIDEO]

Ben Reid·September 6, 2013
Although the simple puzzlers continue to rule the roost when it comes to gaming in mobile space, the marked improvements made to processor and graphics performance have enabled developers and publishers of the more substantial titles to bring an experience to smartphones and tablets something like console quality. In terms of driving games, there are a few noteworthy offerings including the Real Racing trilogy, and joining the race for supremacy is 2K DRIVE, a new iOS exclusive that has just debuted at the App Store.

SimCity For Mac OS X Now Available To Download

Ben Reid·August 29, 2013
The first beta of SimCity first rolled out at the beginning of the year, and a short while ago, it was confirmed by EA that SimCity for Mac would be ready for prime time at the end of August. Right on cue, SimCity has just made an appearance over at the Mac App Store, and considering how badly the PC launch went down thanks to its requirement of an always-on Internet connection, the publisher will be hoping for a lot less controversy this time around.

Grand Theft Auto 5: The Final Trailer Drops Ahead Of Release [VIDEO]

Ben Reid·August 29, 2013
Grand Theft Auto 5 is almost here, and Rockstar Games, the developer-publisher of the popular franchise, is doing its level best to generate even more hype in anticipation of the September 17th launch than there already is. While naturally dismayed by the news that 40+ hours of the game's famed music content leaked online last week, the company's mission to feed Grand Theft Auto 5 fans plenty of teasers continues, and with several GTA 5 trailers of the title already having been released, including the GTA 5 online gameplay video, another official trailer of the lively Los Santos-based title has just been uploaded to YouTube.

Rockstar Games Releases More GTA 5 Screenshots As Launch Looms Near

Ben Reid·August 24, 2013
Rockstar Games has been steadfast in its releasing of screenshots and teaser trailers for its upcoming Grand Theft Auto 5, and with just a couple of weeks left until the eagerly awaited retail date, the developer-publisher has come through with another bundle of snaps demonstrating some of the sumptuous scenery. Rockstar has already familiarized us with virtually every facet of the game including the characters, missions, weapons, vehicles, and even the GTA 5 online gameplay trailer, but these screenshots simply focus on the two main aspects of every GTA title: Crime and Leisure.

Complete List Of PS4 Games Available At Launch

Ben Reid·August 22, 2013
Microsoft has dominated the headlines over the past couple of weeks with its very public preparations for the launch of the Xbox One. But the present days are all about Sony and the PlayStation 4, though, and as well as announcing the PS4 release date, the Japanese company has taken the opportunity at Cologne-based Gamescom to announce some interesting news regarding the all-important initial titles. There will be no fewer than 33 games available for the next-gen machine by the year's close, and although the sum total doesn't quite match the number of titles available for the Xbox One, there's still plenty of variety therein.
