One of the things I look forward to after the announcement of an Apple product is the promo video from John Elerick on YouTube. They take the official “Introducing ” video from Apple, taking the lines and personalities in it, and add their own flavor of wit, sarcasm and parody to make a hilarious “ banned promo” video. The latest video which they uploaded earlier today spoofs the official introduction video of the iPhone 5. Check it out after the jump.
Although the iPhone 5 won’t be publicly available until this coming Friday, a number of people have started to report that their pre-ordered units have started their journey from China to their part of the world. We've seen this behavior in the past with Apple taking the opportunity to make sure devices are shipped well in advance so they actually do get delivered on launch day rather than leaving a trail of unhappy customers. It also makes perfect sense from a logistical point of view for the Cupertino giants to spread out their deliveries rather than attempting to deal with all pre-orders in one go.

It's understandable that a lot of consumers prefer to play the waiting game before purchasing a new device, opting to give it a few weeks after launch and see what owners have to say about the hardware after gaining some hands-on experience. If you are easily swayed by marketing releases, then AT&T's iPhone 5 related announcement could be the catalyst that sets you heading towards that pre-order button.
