Google unveiled Chrome OS in an event yesterday where they demonstrated the upcoming cloud-based OS for the first time in public. Source code of Chrome OS was also released which folks over at gdgt have compiled in a ready-to-install .vmdk file. All you need now is a system running Windows, Linux or OS X with any of the virtualization software like VMware or VirtualBox installed to get Chrome OS running within minutes.

Its only been a few hours since Google spilled the beans on their upcoming Chrome OS, and now we already have a fully working VMware image of Chrome OS ready for download. The Beta bits of Office 2010 Beta along with Office Web Applications are now up on MSDN and TechNet Plus. TechNet Plus and MSDN subscribers can now download and evaluate Office 2010 Beta before the official public availability on November 18th. The most significant change in this Beta Build from the Technical Preview is the new installation procedure for test versions of Office 2010 SKUs, Upload Center, modified version of Backstage view and new refreshed icons for all Office products. Office 2010 Beta is available in both 32 and 64-bit flavors.

It was only yesterday when we reported the long awaited update to install0us (version 2.5) and now it seems like the developer of the app has already pushed a new update, version 2.5.1 via Cydia. The only thing new in this update is that it removes the expiry date that the developer forgot to remove from version 2.5. Version 2.5 of the app will be expired in 4 days from now. Just found this out via Pocketnow that some folks over at Technology Paradise have managed to extract and port the gorgeous looking Calculator app from HTC HD2 over to all other Windows Mobile based devices. All you have to do now is to download the extracted .cab file and then install it on your phone capable of running Windows Mobile. The Calculator app is suitable for almost all type of Windows phones with any type of resolution (VGA and QVGA) and it also supports both the portrait, and landscape modes.
