Oliver Haslam has written about technology for over a decade. His work has been published in print at Macworld and online pretty much everywhere else. If it plugs in or has a battery, it's fair game.
You're probably already well aware of what Grand Theft Auto III: 10th Anniversary Edition is, especially considering we only told you about the iOS version earlier into the day. Even though owners of iPhones, iPads and even iPod touches have been playing the game for a while already, those affiliated with Android can now also play along after the game went live on the Android Market.
Well folks, it doesn't really get anymore random, weird or indeed wonderful than this. Coming out of the Music Hack Day 2011 in London, this video shows one iPhone 4S and Siri laying down some beats ala Notorious B.I.G.. The track of choice? We are well and truly on our way to the iPad rumor nirvana that is early-January, with some new claims by the notoriously hit and miss DigiTimes suggesting that the new iPad 3 could be with us in the next 3 to 4 months.
The reason why many people jailbreak their iPhones, iPads and iPod touches is to add, or sometimes even remove, certain functionality. Some even just want to alter how one particular feature works, tweaking something about it that makes it infinitely more useful than Apple had ever intended.
It's Christmas, the time when families come together, friends drink too much together and people go to Apple Stores to buy iPads, iPod touches and if you're really lucky, an iPhone.
Facebook might get something of a bad rap sometimes. Let's face it, if you're spending all day poking your friends - yes, that sounds as bad in text as it did in my head - then chances are you won't be pulling up any trees in school. At least, that's what we and half the planet probably thought.
