Online retail giant Amazon first unveiled its cloud-based music service back in mid-2011, and after a lengthy wait, the company has today released the accompanying iPhone app, which is essentially the spitting image of the Android iteration.

Unlike the previous official smart covers, which only protected the screen, the new one protects the backplate as well, and retails for a reasonable $49.
With iOS 6 having just been announced, the beta version of the upcoming firmware has now been seeded. And, as usual, this first released build of iOS 6 beta is only available to registered members of Apple's developer program, so if you're a non-developer hoping to catch a glimpse of the future, sadly, you're going to have to wait.
