Apple’s Vision Pro Could Land In UK And Canada By End Of 2024

According to Bloomberg, tech enthusiasts in the UK and Canada can expect to get their hands on the Apple Vision Pro headset by the end of 2024.

The Apple Vision Pro, an advanced eyewear product integrating the latest in augmented reality (AR) technology, has been creating a buzz ever since it was unveiled at this year’s WWDC.

Apple’s first attempt at a mixed-reality headset promises to revolutionize how users interact with digital environments, offering potential applications in entertainment, communication, education, and beyond.

The speculation about international release dates arose from well-placed Apple insider, Mark Gurman, suggesting that Apple is working diligently to prepare for a wider rollout of the Vision Pro. After the U.S., UK, and Canada releases, Apple is reportedly planning to bring the Vision Pro headset to other regions in Europe and Asia. This expansion suggests Apple’s commitment to bringing groundbreaking AR technology to a global audience but is currently working with its own engineers to localize the headset for those regions.

It’s understood that the delay in the international release may be due to those aforementioned localization challenges. Apple is likely working to ensure the Vision Pro is adapted to meet the specific market needs of each region, which could encompass various factors from user interface adjustments to regulatory compliance but also ensuring that each region has full compatibility and language support.

With the U.S. launch date slated for early 2024, anticipation is building among consumers and tech aficionados alike. The company is already thinking about and prepping for the initial rollout with plans reportedly already underway to include special Vision Pro sections in its retail outlets. Those sections will give potential customers the chance to physically experience the headset and get an initial feel for what it can offer.

Gurman also expects Apple to force customers to make an appointment in order to experience the Vision Pro in Apple Retail outlets. This process will likely be due to high initial demand and the fact that each outlet will only have one or two demo units.
