Apple’s iPhone 16 Plus Will Reportedly Come In These Seven Colors

Apple is expected to announce the iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Pro models later this year and now a new leak appears to have shared information about what colors buyers of at least one handset can expect to choose from.

The leak, which comes via a Weibo post by Fixed focus digital that was picked up by MacRumors, claims that the iPhone 16 Plus will be offered in two additional colors compared to the current iPhone 15 Plus.

That model is now available in Blue, Pink, Yellow, Green, and Black but the leak claims that White and Purple will be added to the mix next time out.

It’s notable that the leak only mentions the iPhone 16 Plus, but we suspect that’s just a quirk of the report itself. The iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus are currently both offered in the same colorways and we expect that to remain the case when the iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus ship this fall.

However, it’s important to remember that this particular leaker does not have a track record from which to assess the report. That means that while it could be 100% accurate, we can’t guarantee that right now and the report should be taken with a pinch of salt until something changes.

With Apple now less than six months away from announcing the new iPhones we won’t have to wait too long to know how accurate the leak really is. We may also see more leaks surrounding the colors before then, too.
