Apple CEO Tim Cook Teases An Apple Watch With Even More Sensors In New Podcast

Apple CEO has been talking to the Outside magazine’s Michael Roberts during a podcast, with all kinds of things coming up – including Apple Watch sensors,

According to Cook, the Apple Watch is still in its “early innings” and that there is still a lot to come from the wearable. He says we can look forward to “mind blowing” capabilities that are currently being tested in Apple’s labs.

But it’s unlikely all of them will be shipped as part of a future Apple Watch. However, Cook did say that we should “think about the amount of sensors in your car,” going on to say that “arguably, your body is much more important than your car.”

We’re not sure that’s even something you could argue against!

Regardless, Cook also spoke about fitness and Apple’s implementation of Apple Fitness+, something that has only just received its launch date. From the way Cook spoke it sure does sound like we can look forward to plenty more to come from Apple, Fitness+, and the Apple Watch in the future.

You can listen to the full interview with Tim Cook, with more focus on health and fitness, on the Outside Podcast. It’s well worth a listen – if only for the awkwardly-placed Sonos ad in the middle!
