Apple has now released iOS 27.3 beta 1 and iPadOS 27.3 beta 1 for registered developers to download and install on their test devices ahead of a public release for both updates that should arrive within the coming weeks.
The new iOS 27.3 and iPadOS 27.3 betas are the first to arrive since the release of the iPhone Duo and just before the new iPad mini goes on sale.

The new software will bring Apple Intelligence to China, including support for Genmoji, Notification Summaries, Visual Intelligence, and more, for the first time.
The rest of the world may also benefit from the newly redesigned Health app that was initially part of the iOS 27.2 beta. It was removed in the final beta releases, so it’s expected to make an appearance once more with iOS 27.3. It’s also expected that new Siri AI languages will be part of the update.
However, it’s still early days for iOS 27.3 and iPadOS 27.3, so we will need to spend some time with the betas to get a feel for what has and hasn’t changed. Beyond Apple Intelligence coming to China, we don’t expect any big new features as part of this release.

However, support for the Apple Watch’s upcoming Audio Intelligence features will no doubt be part of the iOS 27.3 beta alongside the release of watchOS 27.3.
It’s unknown when exactly Apple will release iOS 27.3 and iPadOS 27.3 to the public, but we expect it to be around the middle of December based on previous years.
