A new iRacing app has launched for the Apple Vision Pro after it was first announced in March of this year.
The new app includes support for race simulation thanks to a new “foveated streaming” feature that was added as part of the visionOS 26.4 update.

Announcing the new app via a blog post, the iRacing team says that Apple’s ARKit allows them to blur the lines between the racing simulator and the real world.
iRacing for Apple Vision Pro utilizes foveated streaming to render the sharpest content in the driver’s direct line of sight. Apple Vision Pro delivers a uniquely immersive sim racing experience by seamlessly blending your racing rig with the virtual cockpit, aligning your physical steering wheel with the one in-game. iRacers see their physical hands on the wheel, producing an unparalleled experience that ensures racers remain visually connected to their racing rig while using Apple Vision Pro.
The announcement says that Apple Vision Pro owners can look forward to a unique, immersive sim racing experience that will allow them to blend their physical racing kit and their virtual cockpit into a single experience. racers will see their actual hands on their virtual wheel, among other things.
Apple Vision Pro owners can download the iRacing Connect app from the App Store now.
