Download: iOS 26.5 Final IPSW Links, OTA Update Released

Apple has today released for download iOS 26.5 final version, with both IPSW links and OTA update available. That means that the iPhone software is now available to everyone globally, ready to be installed.

Apple has been beta testing the iOS 26.5 update for a few weeks to ensure that it’s ready for public consumption. And while the update doesn’t add any huge new features, there are still some tweaks that are worth calling out.

Apple’s new update adds a Suggested Places app to the Maps app, while end-to-end encryption also comes to the RCS messaging feature.

Those in the European Union will also get a new proximity pairing feature as well as support for notification forwarding and Live Activities on third-party smartwatches and other wearables.

You can install the new update via the Settings app on your iPhone. Alternatively, you can install the update manually by downloading the files below and then installing via iTunes on a Windows PC or the Finder on a Mac.
