Apple has released the third beta version of its iOS 26.3 iPhone software, with the company working towards making the update available to the public.
This third beta comes after the recent release of iOS 26.2.1, which added support for Apple’s updated AirTag item trackers. But the iOS 26.3 update is set to be a more substantial one.

Based on the earlier betas, Apple’s iOS 26.3 will add support for improvements in the way users switch between Android devices and iPhones, as well as an update to the Weather and Astronomy wallpaper options. The update will also allow notifications to be forwarded to third-party devices, as required by an EU directive.
There is no official word on when Apple will release iOS 26.3 to the public, but it’s likely to happen before February gives way to March.
Apple is then likely to turn its attention to iOS 26.4, an update that is expected to bring with it a new, redesigned version of Siri.

This update is hoped to finally bring the more conversational Siri upgrade that was promised at WWDC last year, but has so far been delayed due to engineering issues. Apple recently inked a deal with Google to use its Gemini AI model in the name of improving Siri’s capabilities. The iOS 26.4 update should include the first fruits of that agreement.
