Microsoft has finally rolled out the final bits Silverlight 3 along with full version of Expression Studio 3 for creating RIA (Rich Internet Applications). If you haven’t already discovered the new features in Silverlight 3, here is a list of all the new controls, features and functionality that is added within the Silverlight 3.
You will need to first uninstall all the Silverlight 2 or Silverlight 3 Beta bits before you install the new full version.
Install the latest bits in following order:
- Visual Studio 2008 SP1
- Silverlight 3 Tools for Visual Studio 2008 SP1 (this will include Silverlight 3 runtime & SDK)
- Expression Blend 3
- Silverlight 3 Control Toolkit
- DeepZoom Composer
- .NET RIA Services
