Believe it or not, we spend countless hours every year just going through tons and tons of apps discovering what’s new and noteworthy. The App Store and the Google Play Store is a mighty hub for all your app-full needs, and throw in Facebook and the apps which it has to offer, we get something which geeks would term as “app heaven”.

Apart from being a social network, Facebook is a developer’s heaven, with tons of web-apps already on offer on the website, the mobile platforms look somewhat stale and limited to just posting updates, uploading photos, liking comments etc. But starting today, Facebook is finally rolling out their all-time mythical App Center, which will bring Facebook apps to iOS and Android users, as well as web users.

From the official announcement, we can tell we’re onto something big here. Starting today, users will be able to get their greasy paws on up to 600 unique apps, some of which we’re already acquainted with, and include apps like; Draw Something, Ghost Recon Commander and more.

Before you even begin to use the app(s), you can easily preview them on the App Center website, why go through the tiresome process of trying them out one by one when you can just get a glimpse of them beforehand? Exactly.

Installing apps is as simple as clicking on a button, simply choose your app from the list of those which are on offer, once you’ve done, click on the “Send to Mobile” button and boom, your app will appear on your smartphone. If however, the app is required to be downloaded, then no worries, the Facebook app will take you to the appropriate App Store or Google Play landing page where you can initiate the download and get going. Pretty simple, no?

App Center is live in the U.S. as we speak, but is gradually rolling out to everyone around the globe, according to Facebook; the complete rollout will take a few weeks, so hang in there tight.
