You Can Now Get Your iPhone And Other Apple Products Delivered by Amazon’s Drones

The next time you buy a new iPhone or other Apple product, you could get it delivered to your door using one of Amazon’s drones.

Amazon has announced that Prime Air has a slew of new products eligible for its drone-powered delivery, and Apple’s products are there.

The announcement, first spotted by MacMagazine, says that there are now more than 60,000 items that can be delivered by drone. The addition of new Apple products comes after Amazon received FAA approval to deliver new categories of items “including devices like Apple iPhones, Samsung Galaxy cellphones, Apple AirTags, Apple AirPods, Ring doorbells, and Alpha Grillers Instant Read Food Thermometers.

Amazon says that its drones can fly in light rain, but not all weather conditions are OK. The company uses a 75-minute weather service to predict what the weather will be like ahead of deliveries. The company will also give buyers a five-minute delivery window for when the drone will arrive.

Now, the drone can accurately determine how long it will take to fly to an address and drop off the package. So, after the order is placed, Amazon determines a near-exact delivery time (within five minutes) of when to expect it. Amazon will also notify you if your delivery cannot be completed and explain the reasoning.

With Apple set to announce a number of new products towards the end of 2025, it’s very possible that you could have your new iPhone delivered to your door by air.
