Upcoming iPhone 17 Pro Could Launch In A New Sky Blue Color, Leaker Claims

If you’re planning to pick up a new iPhone 17 Pro or iPhone 17 Pro Max later this year, you could have a new color to consider. According to a new report, Apple’s best iPhones of 2025 will come in a new Sky Blue finish.

The report comes via leaker Majin Bu, who says that the new Sky Blue color will be even nicer than the already popular Sierra Blue that was offered with the iPhone 13 Pro’s launch before it was canned when the iPhone 14 Pro arrived.

… sources close to the supply chain confirm that several iPhone 17 Pro prototypes have been made in various colors, with Sky Blue currently the frontrunner. In prototypes, it reportedly looks even more stunning than the much-loved Sierra Blue of the iPhone 13 Pro, with a brightness and refinement that make it irresistible. Unless Apple changes course at the last minute, this will be the star of the September 2025 launch event.

It’s important to remember that there is no guarantee that this will come to fruition, but Bu has a proven record of late, which suggests that we should pay attention to this claim of a new color being on the way.

If accurate, this rumor could suggest that Apple is ready to bring the MacBook Air’s recent blue color to the iPhone for the first time.

The iPhone 13 Pro in Sierra Blue

If Apple sticks to its usual release schedule we expect that it will announce the new iPhone 17 and iPhone 17 Pro models this coming September.
