Time To Get An Apple Watch: New July Orders Now Shipping In June

Hot on the heels of the news that Apple has resolved its labor shortage problems in its production to meet consumer demand, we’re now witnessing that almost all 42mm Apple Watch models are being given a June delivery date instead of the previously reported July one.

Apple has been struggling so far in terms of supply when it comes to the Apple Watch, and that can be handed to the intense demand of the company’s new wearable. With initial orders being completely sold out – that includes the $10,000+ Edition models – in a matter of hours, we knew that things would be on the other side of the fence until or unless Apple boosts up its production.

Earlier today we heard that Apple was facing labor related shortages which has allegedly been overcome, and the result of that is pretty evident if you head over to the Apple Online Store right now. Almost all – expect one – 42mm Apple Watch models are now displaying a ‘5-7 weeks’ shipping estimate – if you order right away – instead of the usual July time-frame.

If you’re planning to buy the Sport model of the Apple Watch, then there’s positive light for you as well, as most iterations are available with a 6-7 weeks shipping estimate. But if you’re looking to go for the high-end Space Black Apple Watch in the 42mm flavor, then you might want to hold your breath for a little while longer, as the Apple Online Store is still displaying July shipping for that particular model.

This is great news also for those who bought the 42mm Apple Watch before today, as currently processed are also showing 5-7 weeks for delivery instead of July. If your order is currently pending, then we suggest that you check out your shipping status right away for – hopefully – good news.

Even with the 5-7 weeks shipping time, it’s clear that the Apple Watch is in high demand, and it’s likely to remain that way till we cross the summer as well. But if you’ve been looking forward to buy Cupertino’s new wearable in the steel flavor, then we’d suggest that you give it a go right now and play out your luck. You never know that 5-7 weeks shipping estimate might drop even more when your order is being processed!

We have our fingers crossed here.
