Tech CEOs Including Apple’s Tim Cook, Meta’s Mark Zuckerberg, And Tesla’s Elon Musk Will Attend Trump’s Inauguration

With the inauguration of President Donald Trump set to take place next week there will no doubt be plenty of people looking to get in on what will be the hottest ticket in town.

And it appears that the biggest names in the world of technology are no different.

Bloomberg reports that multiple technology CEOs as well as founders will be taking their places at the inauguration. Apple CEO Tim Cook, Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg, and of course, Tesla CEO Elon Musk will be making an appearance. The same can also be said for Jeff Bezos, the man who founded Amazon and was until recently its CEO.

The report notes that the fact so many tech leaders will be in attendance is the latest example of the industry’s attempts to cozy up to the incoming Trump administration.

The appearance from the tech titans comes as the industry has sought to warm relations with Trump following his victory last November, and despite frequent clashes during his first term in office. Many, including Cook, have traveled to Trump’s Mar-a-Lago estate in Florida, where the president-elect and Musk have held a series of private meetings and dinners to discuss plans for the coming term.

Trump has been making a lot of noise about the potential for new tariffs on imports and companies like Apple are particularly keen to try and avoid such a move. Staying close to Musk appears to be one way that these companies intend to get their way.
