Last month in a special iPhone 4 centric press conference, Steve Jobs defended iPhone 4 antenna issue by comparing it with some of the other popular handsets having the same problem. The key point which Apple wanted everyone to know was that this so called “attenuation” problem is not limited to iPhone 4 only. And so to further highlight this, Apple set up a new webpage on Apple.com which showcased different popular smartphones like Motorola Droid X, Samsung Omnia II, BlackBerry Bold, HTC Droid Eris etc having the same problem.
Steve Jobs tried his best to defend iPhone 4 antenna issue in the special press conference which was held on July 15 by comparing it with some of the other popular handsets having the same problem but this apparently hasn’t gone too well with these companies. They believe that Apple in an effort to clear its own mess has dragged others in to the issue unnecessarily. And so as a result, the recent Samsung Galaxy S ad may just be the beginning of yet another anti-Apple advertising campaign.

It’s official now. Steve Jobs will kick off Apple’s World Wide Developers Conference 2010 with a keynote address on 7th June at 10:00 am Pacific Time. Comedian Bill Maher on Saturday night made a vey bold statement saying that Steve Jobs should run for the Oval Office as he would do a better job than the current Obama Administration. Maher was clearly disappointed by President’s recent remarks in which he stated that iPads, iPods, Xboxes and PlayStations were a source of distraction, rather than a tool of democracy for the United States.
