We all know that the Macbook Air is incredibly thin. But the question is: how thin is it? Statistically speaking, iPad 2 has a thickness of 8.8mm whereas the Air is 17mm at its thickest, and 2.8 at its thinnest.

Apple has finally unveiled the new MacBook Pro family which is powered by Intel Core i5, Core i7 and even Quad Core processors. Powered by Intel Sandy Bridge processors, the Quad Core option is only available for 15 and 17-inch models. Core i5 and Core i7 option though is available on all three models, that is, 13, 15 and 17-inches.

According to MacRumors, Apple is all set to launch MacBook Pro refresh on Thursday, February 24th. Apple’s MacBook Pro line is due for an upgrade this year and it would only be wise for Apple to ship these with Intel Sandy Bridge processors as they are now the flagship chipsets of Intel.
The year 2010 is now coming to a close. Since I got to play with many different gadgets, I thought it will be nice if I summarized a list of my personal favorites from the year 2010.
It was only a few days back when the Kinect hardware for the Xbox 360 got hacked to run on a Windows 7 PC. The fun doesn’t stop there, thanks to the recently released open source drivers for Kinect, it has now been hacked to run on a MacBook Pro running Mac OS X ! Check out the video after the break.

An Apple netbook? Say it isn’t so! While netbooks tend to fall in the 8-10” screen-size category, it would be a little foolish not to consider 11-inchers as netbooks. I, personally, believe that any laptop of screen size < 13” and not having a CD-ROM is to be considered as a netbook.
