With the design, development and subsequent launch of the iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus, Apple took steps and put measures in place to ensure that those purchasing the new hardware didn't experience the same issues that tainted the release of last year's iPhone 6 models. Apple may have kept the physical appearance from last year, but upgrading the metal used to a 7000 series aluminum, ensured that "bendgate" was a closed chapter. Now it seems like the Cupertino-based giant is on the brink of being hit with another issue, as iPhone 6s owners have begun reporting that their devices are randomly shutting themselves down, as it inches closer to a 'Sleepgate' scandal of sorts.
