Key iPhone 6 Features And Specs Detailed In New Report

Ben Reid·August 7, 2014
Apple's iPhone 6 is apparently being unveiled on September 9th, and although we'd gathered plenty of details already, we've now got some unofficial confirmation of several key features. It's naturally assumed, given the A7 processor of the iPhone 5s, that Apple will bundle an improved A8 chip into the next handset, and along with improved Wi-Fi and Touch ID, this will definitely be the case.

Apple's iPhone 6 is easily the most eagerly-anticipated handset of the year, and while most smartphones get their fair share of leaks and such, the forthcoming iPhone has been speculated on for the best part of six months. In the past couple of weeks, we've seen parts leaks aplenty as the manufacturing process commences, and now, one of our favorite designers has utilized his skills to present us with an all-singing, inside-and-out look at the iPhone 6. Below, you can check it out for yourself.

Ben Reid·August 6, 2014

Being the source of most iPhone 6 hardware leaks, there's a very good case to be made for Chins being the best place to pick up a fake iPhone 6 too. Turns out that's exactly true after Apple's next iPhone was once again beaten to market by a knockoff, and one that actually looks pretty good.

With leaks piling up and everyone pretty confident about what the new iPhone(s) will look like already, all that's really left to the imagination is when we will be first shown what we will hopefully be able to buy shortly after.

If you're growing tired of the iPhone 6 rumors, mockups and supposed leaks, then today isn't going to be your day. Hot in the heels of so much talk about the unannounced iPhone 6 so far, we've got another video that shows something of a rarity - the iPhone 6 in a rather fetching gold sheen along with Space Gray model next to current iPhone 5s and Nexus 5.

5.5-inch iPhone 6 Phablet And iWatch Release Time-Frame Revealed In New Report

Ben Reid·July 29, 2014
With Google having recently showcased Android Wear, a smartwatch specific flavor of its famed mobile operating system, it is widely presumed that Apple will follow suit and build its own competitor. Even though, earlier on this year, it was reckoned that Apple may drop the so-called iWatch alongside the iPhone 6, it has long since been suspected that the wearable would in fact be delayed until the holiday season, but in an interesting twist, it appears that the also-delayed 5.5-inch iPhone 6 may be joining it.

Leaked Photos Compare 4.7-inch And 5.5-inch iPhone 6 Logic Boards Side-by-Side

Ben Reid·July 28, 2014
Apple's iPhone 6 is said to be headed to market late September, which makes sense given the past few release brackets, but whilst we've been treated to an abundance of coverage relating to the 4.7-inch variant, the more sizeable, 5.5-inch option has remained fairly elusive. This is, however, beginning to change, which suggests that the manufacturing process for the larger configuration is up and running, and to kick off what'll no doubt amount another week of considerable iPhone 6-related leaks, the logic boards of the two different size options have been compared side-by-side.

5.5-inch iPhone 6 Phablet, iPad mini 3, iPad Air 2 Production Pushed To September

Paul Morris·July 26, 2014
The latest rumor related to the ever intriguing world of Apple hardware is suggesting that the 4.7-inch iPhone 6 will be the only new device ready for launch this September. The Cupertino giant is expected to announce a media event to take place in September, with the intention being to launch new mobile hardware later on in the month. If the latest leaks coming out of the Far East turn out to be true, then production of the larger 5.5-inch iPhone and all new iPad hardware could be delayed until September at the earliest.

Oliver Haslam·July 25, 2014
As time chugs along and we get ever nearer to the expected September announcement and, hopefully, release of at least one new iPhone, the leaks are still gathering quite the pace. With Apple believed to be working on not just one new iPhone, but two, all the leaks so far have been based on the smaller 4.7-inch device on Apple's roadmap. Its 5.5-inch brother has been surprisingly absent in the leak stakes, which has led many to the conclusion that it will launch some time after the smaller variant.
