Carla Theme For iPhone And iPad Brings Meticulous Detail To Every Aspect Of iOS [GIVEAWAY]

Paul Morris·March 28, 2013
We've made it our mission to get intricate with most of the powerful and interesting tweaks that land on Cydia. Some of them may not be to our tastes, and some of them may not offer the functionality that we would necessarily make use of, but each user is different and the old saying of "one man's trash is another man's treasure" definitely springs to mind when talking about jailbreak tweaks. We have also made it our mission to stay away from jailbreak orientated themes unless they are truly exceptional and make Apple's iOS a genuinely more attractive and elegant place to be. I guess that must mean that the Carla theme for jailbroken iOS devices is one of those stand out creations that makes the grade.

YouTube Capture App For iOS Updated With Support For iPad

Ben Reid·March 14, 2013
For some, the natural progression from the standalone camera has been to utilize the ever-improving shooters of their smartphones. Tablets, while considered principally similar to their smaller counterparts, are seen as less ideal for taking pictures and shooting video, for obvious reasons (hint: awkwardness in public). This is understandable really, since they're less convenient to carry around, and vendors tend to favor smartphones when it comes to the quality of snapper. However, with its new YouTube Capture app for the iPad, Google is looking to buck this trend, instead seeking to encourage users to use their tablets in order to create videos.

Files App For iOS Is A Beautiful File Manager For Your iPhone And iPad

Ben Reid·February 28, 2013
Apple's iOS software is renowned for being quite restrictive in what it allows users to do, and one of the most frequently-highlighted issues is the lack of support for file system browsing. Moving files and documents around on an iPhone, iPad or iPod touch is thus made very difficult, but Sonico Mobile has sought to buck the trend by developing an intuitive little app by the name of Files App. The name is basic, however the app itself is anything but, and if you've been waiting for a native-looking app enabling all your files to be stored and managed in one place, Files App has your back.
