Google today, in a press event held at its Headquarters in Mountain View, California has finally unveiled the much hyped Nexus One, aka the Google phone. Nexus One is powered by Android 2.1 operating system, it features 3.7’’ AMOLED screen, 1Ghz Snapdragon processor with 512mb of Ram and 5 megapixels autofocus camera with flash to go with it.
Google Nexus One phone has been rooted already even before its official release to public. Paul over at Modaco forums has managed to successfully root his Nexus One, running the latest Android 2.1 version on the said device. He has cooked a custom ROM for Nexus One with the method, which he is referring to as Superboot.

Engadget has the latest scoop on the desktop dock for Nexus One which is said to have been cleared by FCC. The dock includes Bluetooth 2.1+ EDR module which is quite strange, given that the leaked specs of Nexus One already shows it being capable of it.
