It is felt that the sponsors are slowly drifting away from the best golf player in the world today. Many of his ads that used to run in prime time have almost vanished from the screens of televisions in United States. Last time that he was seen on television was in a 30 Seconds Gillette Ad on November 29, two days after the scandal broke out.

Time Magazine today has published its list of “Top 10 of Everything” in which they have picked up Motorola Droid on Verizon network as the winner for their “Gadget of the Year” award. iPhone 3GS which was released in the same year as Motorola Droid could only manage 4th place behind Droid, The Nook and Dyson Air Multiplier. Motorola Droid on Verizon has been successfully rooted for direct access to the file system. It works on both the original Android 2.0 Rom which ships with Droid, and the latest Android 2.0.1 OTA (over the air) software update which was recently released for the Droid phone. Root access will enable you to modify the phone’s firmware to whatever you want to have on your phone like themes, apps and custom Roms just like you do on the jailbroken iPhone.
An ambulance was called to Tiger Woods home in Windermere, FL which transported a middle-aged blonde woman to the hospital. The call was made to 911 at 2:36 AM from a home on Deacon Circle. Earlier reports suggested that the call made was not from Tiger’s home, but from one of his neighbors but then later it was confirmed that the call indeed came from Tiger’s address in Orlando.
Google today has announced the public availability of Goggles which can let you search the web using images, without having to speak or write anything. You can simply take a picture with the camera on your phone, Goggles will then analyze and process your image, and then it will return a relevant search results page from Google. Currently, Goggles identifies landmarks, books, logos, business cards, places, wine bottles and works of art. Support for things like food, plants, cars, animals and suggestions of move in a chess game will added in future releases.
It looks like HTC is set to release a mini variant of HD2 in the first half of 2010. This news comes out through HTC portfolio which has been leaked online via XDA, hinting at a number of Windows Mobile and Android based devices for next year.
