How To Get Right-Click Like Behavior On iPhone Home Screen With Bunch Of Useful Options

Ben Reid·April 6, 2013
Even with the jailbreak scene having thrived for a number of years, and many bases having been covered in terms of what Apple is missing by default, there's still plenty of scope for innovation. Every week, I am genuinely surprised by just how creative developers have been with ideas and execution, and a new tweak by the name of Icon Tool shows a great degree of invention. In essence, Icon Tool acts as something of a 'right click' for your home screen icons, providing a bunch of useful extras aside from the basic open/move/delete offered by Apple at stock level.

Galaxy S2 Shown Running Two Android Instances Side-by-Side Via Virtualization [VIDEO]

Aatif·April 6, 2013
Virtualization is a concept that has grown very rapidly in the last decade, especially amongst casual, home users. It makes sense, too, considering that the hardware available to the average user these days is capable of running multiple instances of an operating system with ease, even if you need a high-end machine for that. Also, the segregation of operating systems themselves has grown to a point where you do tend to want to try out the offerings of one, but don’t really want to switch your primary OS, where again virtualization comes to the rescue. The same concept has been trickling down to smartphones as well.

Apple Devices All Set To Outsell Windows For The First Time

Ben Reid·April 6, 2013
Smartphones and tablets have been touted on numerous occasions as "Post-PC" devices, and with most now offering the same levels of capability as desktops and notebooks, this assertion is perhaps an accurate one. Research firm Gartner's latest figures show just how pivotal these Post-PC devices have become within the tech industry, having estimated that in 2013, Apple devices will outsell their Windows counterparts for the very first time in history.

How To Root Galaxy S4 GT-I9505 Using Chainfire Auto-Root

Aatif·April 6, 2013
For any smartphone user who owns an Android-based device and is slightly geekish, rooting comes as naturally as eating, sleeping, and other basic human instinct. Not only does it unlock the true potential of your device, but also makes it possible to run several apps that otherwise are out of question. Android, in this regard, also holds a great advantage over its fruity counterpart, iPhone, as the open source nature of the former makes it much easier to gain root level access on the device. The fact that Android developer community is huge doesn’t hurt either. Thus, whenever a new device comes out, people expectantly wait for the developers to work their magic and provide root methods. Now, it turns out, that you don’t have to even wait for the actual device to come out, because renowned developer Chainfire has rooted Samsung Galaxy S4 with a fully working auto-root mechanism.

Revealing a curved display and form factor akin to the product outlined in a patent Apple was granted just days ago, it may well just be that an individual with Photoshop skills has decided to take advantage of the circumstances, but with many sources suggesting Apple's next iPhone could hit the market in a matter of a couple of months, it's certainly worth checking out.
