Apple has today launched its latest big App Store promotion, with 100 apps and games now available for a paltry $0.99, with some of the biggest names in the App Store available for some pretty big discounts. Everyone loves a bargain, and if our first run through what's on offer in this promotion is anything to go by, it's got more than a couple of must-have titles ripe for the taking.

Apple had today outlined its plans for its 2015 Back to School promotion, with students, parents of students or people working at suitable educational establishments now able to take advantage of the promotion in Apple's retail outlets. Now, it looks as though Apple Watch owners should prepare to part with some more cash as Apple is reportedly expanding its Made for Apple Watch program to allow third-party manufacturers to build Apple Watch docks/stands with integrated chargers.

Microsoft has today added to its ever growing stable of iPhone apps, launching a new email app for Apple's smartphone, called Send. Joining Outlook as a Microsoft-branded iPhone email app, Send is available to download for free from the App Store today, though you will have to be in the United States or Canada in order to get your hands on it - Microsoft is keen to get the ball rolling slowly to kick things off, it seems.

With time ticking away though one retailer just couldn't wait to get the word out, with Swiss company Digitec pushing its Moto G (2015) product page onto its live website a few days early.
It's undeniably important that large corporations such as Apple recruit as many people as humanly possible to test and put beta software through its paces. It's even more important when that software is actually the underlying operating system that powers most of its mobile devices, namely iOS. With that said, it's also extremely important that those beta testers aren't allowed to penalise third-party app developers who work tirelessly to ensure that their apps and software are compatible come the final public release. You could almost hear the app development community chant in harmonious unison today when Apple finally banned iOS beta testers from leaving App Store reviews.
