Microsoft is no stranger to releasing all sorts of wonderful apps and games for Apple’s mobile platform. And today is no different, with the software giant releasing a brand new app for iPhone users.
The app in question is called ‘SNIPP3T’, and is available for iPhone users only at the moment, with no version of Windows Phone or Android in sight. So we’re assuming that the app is exclusive for iOS users currently, but we’re somewhat certain that it will crawl onto other platforms as well.
The app is pretty much straightforward and brings you your daily dose of celebrity news right to your smartphone without having to crawl through different pages on the Web. But that’s the core feature of the app, add in the fact that it’s loaded with tons of neat hidden gems, and you have yourself a brilliant and functional news app.
SNIPP3T allows you to follow your favorite celebrities with a single tap, after which you’ll be presented with all sorts of news from their realm, including their social networking feeds. But that’s not where it ends, the app goes a little further with great exploration features, and if you’re way too excited about a certain piece of news then you can even connect with other fans and express your feelings.

•Tap on a celebrity to view their detailed profiles and explore a timeline of news stories surrounding them. You can also tap into a news story to get all relevant story content (news articles, photos, videos, and social mentions) in one place.
•Share your thoughts about the latest news with other fans of your favorite celebrities.
As you can see from the description, the app is loaded with great features, and we’re certain some of those were left out for users to explore themselves; topped off with a brilliant looking design, we’re certain that users will get hooked once they get the grip on it.
The app is absolutely free to download and use, with no in-app purchases to break any sort of deal.
