macOS 14 Sonoma Beta 4 Released Along With Beta 4 Of watchOS 10 And tvOS 17

Two weeks after the third macOS 14, watchOS 10, and tvOS 17 betas were released, Apple is now seeding Beta 4 of all three macOS, watchOS, and tvOS.

macOS Sonoma promises to be major improvement over macOS Ventura with plenty of new features to play with. Improvements like a faster search function, password and passkey sharing and much more all add to that mix.

watchOS 10 also changes things up with widgets being the mainstay of a new interface. Quick access to the Control Center via the side button in any app, access to widget stacks from any watch face, improved Hiking workouts, new watch faces of course and much more, add to a new Apple Watch experience.

tvOS 17 meanwhile brings in Facetime to the Apple TV for the first time ever, along with some gestures, Split View, a revamped Control Center, as well as an all important ability to search for that misplaced Siri Remote using the iPhone.

That said, the current beta releases are meant for developers only, and not in anyway recommended to be installed on your everyday device. Beta 4 of macOS 14 and watchOS 10 pack bug fixes and performance improvements over the older betas as developers test and report the issues they encounter.

Of course there’s always the first public beta that Apple released two weeks back if you’re interested in checking it out as those are relatively safer and more stable then these developer releases.

Apple is expected to release macOS 14 Sonoma somewhere in fall this year, while watchOS 10 and tvOS 17 could be released somewhere in September going by past trend.
