iOS 17 Beta 1 Release Notes, Bugs, Features, Known Issues According To Apple

Here are iOS 17 beta 1 release notes, bugs, features, changes and known issues coming straight from Apple.

Apple’s iOS 17 is now official after Apple announced it at the WWDC 2023 event in Cupertino, California.

The update is the latest for the iPhone and while it won’t be available for the public until this fall, it’s now available in initial beta form for developers.

We’re likely to see Apple bring the iOS 17 beta to the public beta program within a number of weeks, but right now it’s only available to developers. And even then, we’d only suggest that developers install the beta on devices that are spare and aren’t going to cause any issues if something goes wrong.

With that in mind, the release notes for the first iOS 17 beta explain everything that’s going on with this beta and, importantly, it outlines all of the known issues that people are likely to come up against when using this release.

Apple will no doubt now be working through all of these issues to try and makes sure that it can fix them as quickly as possible and new beta releases should see the number of known issues reduce. But until then, this set of release notes has all of the details you’re going to need — especially if you’re a developer and something isn’t behaving the way you might expect.
