Here’s A First Look At The Vision Pro’s Box; It’s Huge

Apple’s Vision Pro headset is now available for preorder and will finally go up for sale on February 2 and when it does, it’ll come in a massive box thanks to all of the accessories included. Now, a render of that box has been shared online.

The render, created by MacRumors, is reportedly based on an Apple employee training video the outlet has seen.

And if you’ve been expecting anything special from this new box you’re going to be left disappointed because it’s essentially the same as Apple’s previous boxes but larger. In this case, the Vision Pro will be shown on the front of the box while Apple logos and the Vision Pro text will be found on the sides.

However, MacRumors describes the box itself as being “immense.”

While the design itself may be fairly unremarkable, the box’s size is immense, almost filling the entire lap of a customer. This is because it contains a Solo Knit Band, a Dual Loop Band, a Light Seal, two Light Seal cushions, a cover, an external battery pack, a USB-C charging cable, a power adapter, a polishing cloth, and the Vision Pro headset itself, necessitating an extremely large receptacle. Until now, the size and design of the box has been unknown.

The report also claims that the headset controller won’t have a fabric handle as is the case with other large boxes, including that of the Mac Studio.

The Vision Pro will of course be available to buy soon and we can expect to see real boxes appearing on social media as they arrive on doorsteps. The headset starts at $3499 for the 256GB model with 512GB and 1TB options also available.
