Final Versions Of macOS 15.5, visionOS 2.5, tvOS 18.5, watchOS 11.5 Released

Alongside the release of iOS 18.5 and iPadOS 18.5, Apple has also released new software updates in the form of watchOS 11.5, macOS 15.5, visionOS 2.5 and tvOS 18.5 for the Apple Watch, Mac, Apple Vision Pro, and Apple TV.

All of these new updates are available for download right now and you don’t need to be a developer or beta tester to get them. The updates are available via OTA update for free, and those with automatic updates enabled might already have them without realizing.

These new updates bring with them the usual array of bug fixes and whatnot, but none include any headline features that make downloading a must. However, we suggest installing these updates as soon as possible if only to make sure you have the latest fixes applied.

macOS 15.5

The macOS 15.5 update is a minor one with no notable new features identified throughout the beta process. It’s available for all machines that can run other versions of macOS Sequoia‌ and can be installed via the System Settings app.

visionOS 2.5

Owners of the Apple Vision Pro can now download the new visionOS 2.5 update via the Settings app. However, like the rest of these updates, new features are hard to come by. With Apple set to announce new software at WWDC next month it’s possible the visionOS 3 update will be one to watch out for.

tvOS 18.5

Apple rarely adds any big new features to tvOS outside of its September updates, and this release is no different. The update can be downloaded via the Settings app.

watchOS 11.5

The new Apple Watch software will include support for the new Pride watch face, but that’s just about it. unfortunately. Again, look to June’s WWDC event for news on what will be the next big thing for the Apple Watch with watchOS 12.

These updates are likely to be among the last ones before the WWDC event in June. Apple’s new software will be shown off for the first time at that event ahead of a likely September release.
