Apple has just released the final version of OS X 10.10.4 Yosemite, and it comes with a raft of bug fixes and enhancements. It is immediately available to download from the Mac App Store. Here’s the full changelog and what’s new in OS X 10.10.4.
There are a bunch of great changes under the hood in the new OS X 10.10.4 release, with prime focus on how the operating system performs on a day to day basis. For example, users who have been facing the dreaded network related issues since day one will be pleased to learn that Apple has finally resolved all WiFi related woes by removing discoveryd process. So networking should be faster, stable and more reliable from 10.10.4 onwards.
Furthermore, the Migration Assistant tool has been given bug fix treatment as well and should be more reliable than previous releases thus far. And if you’re a user who makes use of an external display with your Mac, then there’s good news for you too, as all issues pertaining to external panels has been resolved in this release.
If you’re an Aperture or iPhoto user, OS X 10.10.4 resolves all woes when transferring libraries to the new Photos app. iCloud Photo Library users should notice a tinge of reliability in the syncing process as well.

Grabbing the new OS X 10.10.4 Yosemite update is easy. Simply launch the Mac App Store, then click on the ‘Updates’ tab at the top. Now wait for a few seconds till the Mac App Store is done refreshing after which you will be presented with the OS X 10.10.4 Yosemite update. Simply hit the ‘Update’ button and the download will begin on your Mac. Since OS X 10.10.4 update is around 1.09GB in size, it might take a while to download and install, depending on your Internet connection.
