When apple released the 10.5-inch iPad Pro, it included four new images that could be used as wallpapers, and while Apple itself did not make them available to those who wanted to use the images on their existing devices, as always there were plenty of ways to get hold of them if you knew where to look.

However, a number of wallpapers were simply not available outside of an Apple Store, with Apple only using them on demonstration models of the iPad Pro. That, however, has changed.

One enterprising Reddit user took the opportunity to AirDrop himself the wallpapers when he was at a local Apple Store, before posting them online. The images were initially posted to Imgur, but once it was noted that the site reduces the resolution of the 5K images that were provided to it the decision was quickly made to put the wallpapers in an alternative cloud system.

Of course this means that we get to see the wallpapers in their glorious 5K quality, just as Apple would have intended.

While all of the images are still available via Imgur if you want to have a quick browse, we’d suggest getting the full 5K hotness from our mirror download link below if you’re going to use this on your device. One note of caution though – one image is missing from the set, so if you want a pretty impressive aerial image of Buenos Aires then you can pick that up separately right here: dbr.ee/cZNG

Be sure to check out the wallpapers even if you do not have a 5K device that can take advantage of them – even scaled down, these are great images to have as wallpapers on your device, whether that is an old iPad mini or a brand new iPad Pro.
