Office 2010 RTM Bits Are Now Available on MSDN and TechNet

Microsoft Office 2010

The official public launch of Office 2010 will be held on 12th of May in New York City along with other virtual events around the globe, and Office 2010 will be available in every retail store in the US in June, so you have to hold your horses for a couple of months to get your hands on the retail Office 2010 package.

Office 2010 RC (Release Candidate) was released in February of this year. Office 2010 Beta, along with Office Web Apps was released by Microsoft back in November last year for Connect, TechNet and MSDN subscribers. A broader more general release of Office 2010 Beta was made later at PDC09.

Office 2010 Technical Preview, Beta 1 and Beta 2 milestones were leaked earlier in July, August and October 2009 respectively.

In January of this year, Office 2010 RTM Escrow Build 14.0.4730.1007 was leaked by WZOR, a site infamously known for many leaked builds of Windows 7 during its testing stages.

Those of you who are members of MSDN and TechNet, can download the RTM bits of Office 2010 right now and enjoy the full features of Office 2010. Office 2010 is surely by far the best version of Microsoft Office to date, and we’re sure the saga will continue later on with updates and fixes which would improve the user experience even more.
