After releasing PwnageTool 4.1.1 yesterday, the iPhone Dev Team today has silently updated PwnageTool to 4.1.2 to fix jailbreaking issues for OS X 1.5.x Leopard users. Again, as far as the jailbreak, compatibility and the exploit is concerned, this release offers nothing new except for this bug fix.
The iPhone Dev Team has just released PwnageTool 4.1.1. This is more of a bug fix release which fixes issues for Mac OS X 10.5.x Leopard users.
FaceTime has just been announced at “Back to the Mac” event. It’s only coming for OS X though. So there will only be iPod touch 4G to iPhone 4 to OS X-based devices based.
PwnageTool 4.1 has been released. You can use it to cook custom firmware files without the upgraded (2.10.4 / 05.14.02) baseband for iPhone 4, 3GS and iPhone 3G running on iOS 4.1 so that you can unlock it using the existing version of Ultrasn0w. This version of PwnageTool also supports hacktivation.
iPhone developer and hacker iH8sn0w has shared more screenshots from the upcoming version of Sn0wbreeze which is going to support almost all iOS based devices. For those of you who don’t know, Sn0wbreeze for Windows, like PwnageTool for Mac, can create custom firmware files without the upgraded baseband so that you can unlock your phone using the existing version of Ultrasn0w.
