Incase you were wondering about support for the 4th-gen iPod touches, Hexxeh has just confirmed that they he and his team has tested the required binaries on a iPod touch 4G and needless to say, it worked just like it did on other A4 devices like the iPhone 4 and iPad.
Could it be possible one day that we can play iPhone / iPod touch / iPad games on our TV? While the idea is pointless, considering how all it you’re really going to be playing relatively archaic casual games on an expensive set up, it is expected to become a reality real soon.
Apple has just released a second iOS 4.2 GM seed for iPad. This new Build 8C134b for iPad has been released in the wake of WiFi bug which we reported about yesterday.
The final version of iTunes 10.1 for both Windows and Mac has just been released. This version of iTunes will be required to install iOS 4.2 (when released) on iPhone, iPad and iPod touch.
The final version of iOS 4.2 was originally scheduled to drop sometime this week. We then heard about reports of it being released on Friday (Tomorrow), with iTunes 10.1 and Mac OS X 10.6.5 on this past Wednesday. While OS X 10.6.5 did drop on time, iTunes 10.1 didn’t.
It was only a few days back when the Kinect hardware for the Xbox 360 got hacked to run on a Windows 7 PC. The fun doesn’t stop there, thanks to the recently released open source drivers for Kinect, it has now been hacked to run on a MacBook Pro running Mac OS X ! Check out the video after the break.
I have just been tipped off by one of our readers who has got a reply from Chpwn, confirming that Cydia is now ready for primetime use on iOS 4.2.

Those of you who have been following us on Twitter and / or Facebook may already know that I recently got my hands on Samsung Omnia 7 which is powered by Microsoft Windows Phone 7. After spending 24 hours with it, I am absolutely in love with the fact how different it is than both iOS and Android. While the version 1.0 of Windows Phone 7 has its shares of annoyances like: no multitasking, no copy-paste, and the inability to manually assign IP addresses etc, but the new and different experience totally out numbered all the lows (which will be fixed with an OTA update anyway) for me.
iOS 4.2, at least from what information we have so far, is slated for release this Friday and it’s going to be a significant update for iPad (not so much for iPhone / iPod touch, though). And of course, there’s going to be a jailbreak to accompany the new iOS version. Here’s all you need to know.
