Apple has just pushed a minor update for the second-generation Apple TV owners. While there is no official change log yet, this update seems to be minor, mainly released to fix bugs and security loopholes.

According to the sources close to MacDailyNews, the upcoming Verizon iPhone will support Verizon’s new faster LTE network for 4G data, and it will be announced right after Christmas. The report also cites that Verizon is waiting for AT&T exclusivity to end after which they are going to market it as the only LTE (4G-capable) iPhone.
Cinq is a new application for iOS devices that wirelessly transfers pictures from your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch to your home Mac or PC and it works over 3G and Wi-Fi. There are three versions of the app to choose from: a paid version for the iPhone / iPod touch, a free but ad-supported version for the iPhone / iPod touch, and a paid version for the iPad.
Earlier this month, we reported that Apple’s second generation iPad will begin shipping somewhere around the end of February 2011. And now multiple sources close to Apple's component suppliers have suggested that the upcoming tablet will feature not one but two cameras: one on the front and other on the back. Largan and Genius have been detailed as the suppliers who have received orders from Apple. The claim seems to be fairly valid as Genius is also the current supplier of the iPhone 4's camera.
Time Magazine today has published its list of “The Top 10 Everything of 2010” in which they have picked up Apple’s iPad as the winner for their “Top 10 Gadgets” of the year award. The three other Apple products that made TIME’s Top 10 2010 gadgets list were: 11-inch MacBook Air (3rd place), iPhone 4 (6th place) and Apple TV (7th place). At the 360|MacDev conference, Jay Freeman (aka Saurik), who is the creator of Cydia store for iPhone, iPad and iPod touch has confirmed that he and his team are working to bring Cydia to computers running Mac OS X.
In a TED talk held last month, Cydia creator Saurik said that only about 10% percent of iPhone users jailbreak their iPhones. One of the biggest reason why people don’t jailbreak their iPhones is because of the increased security concerns, which may effect their private and confidential data stored on the device.
