Yesterday, we reported that JailbreakMe.com had been sold to an unknown person and that Comex’s web-based jailbreaking tool would be transferred to a new Jailbreaks.me domain. Well, there is good news to be heard regarding the story, as the JailbreakMe.com domain has been transferred to Cydia developer Saurik.

According to press statement from AT&T released earlier today, the iPhone 4S has seen more than 200,000 preorders within the first 12 hours of pre-orders going live. The news is accompanied by Apple officially selling out all pre-orders of the iPhone 4S.
JailbreakMe.com, the online service of sorts which let users jailbreak their iOS devices with a swipe of the finger, has been transferred to an “untrusted” owner after being sold recently and, as such, is no longer safe for use. The developer community will instead host the jailbreaking tool on a new domain which we’ve discussed after the jump.
An all-new video has popped up on the internetz today which apparently shows the Google Nexus Prime with Android Ice Cream Sandwich running on top.
According to a report published today, Steve Jobs’ authorized biography Steve Jobs by Walter Isaacson will be launching earlier than planned as its release date has been moved up to October 24th, about a month earlier than the previous date which was November 21st.
Steve Jobs may have passed away yesterday, but he will never be dead to those who were truly inspired by his powerful personality. He’ll live on and the technology he worked on and the products he created will continue changing people’s lives for many, many years to come.

Apple announced plenty of exciting new things at their Let’s Talk iPhone media event today. A new iPhone was announced along with updates to the iPod nano and iPod touch product lineup. One piece of news did get lost in all the iPhone 4S hype though, and it is how the iPhone 4 is now available only in 8GB memory configuration for $99 with a two-year contract.
Demoed officially earlier this year at E3, the Metro-style Xbox 360 Dashboard Update for 2011 has been caught being browsed through in a leaked video which you can watch after the jump!
CyanogenMod 7 for HP TouchPad has made further progress today, as the developers have announced a tool called ACME Installer which will allow users to dual-boot CM7 with webOS on their TouchPad.
