As implied by the build number, the update is a rather rudimentary one, with fixes to Wi-Fi and a slight bump for Safari, among a couple of other tweaks, and below, we've got a full round-up.

Steve Jobs Used To Have Lunch All Alone, And Here’s Why

Ben Reid·June 30, 2014
Aside from being one of the greatest innovators that tech has ever seen, Steve Jobs, Apple's co-founder and former CEO, was also a fascinating character. Often described as a frosty character in the workplace, this aspect of his personality was seldom more obvious than at lunchtime, when Apple employees would shun the head honcho through fear of being fired.

iPhone 6 Won’t Include Hideous Antenna Design In Final Shipping Unit

Ben Reid·June 30, 2014
This year, we've been in the rather unprecedented position of having access to iPhone 6 mockups many months in advance the manufacturing process, which is apparently set to commence at some point over the next couple of weeks. But while recent leaks of the device's rear shell appear to have corroborated the many 3D print-outs we've seen of the upcoming handset, a new report suggests that the antenna's design will greatly differ from what we've been seeing so far.

Microsoft To Use ‘Nokia By Microsoft’ Branding For Upcoming Devices, Ditching Surface Brand

Ben Reid·June 28, 2014
As most of you will be aware, Microsoft's deal to acquire Finnish telecommunications outfit Nokia was recently given the rubber stamp of approval by the relevant bodies overseeing such takeovers, and even though ties between the two firms have been fairly close for years now, the software giant has gradually been integrating Nokia's staff and product lines with its own business model. As a part of this ongoing process, Microsoft is said to be on the cusp of licensing the iconic Nokia brand, and according to leaked info, may opt for "Nokia by Microsoft" labeling on its smartphone line-up.

How To Download And Install Android L Keyboard On Any Device Right Now

Ben Reid·June 28, 2014
With Google having rolled out the early developer preview images of Android L, it was inevitable that the various treasures therein would be plucked out by the modding community and distributed around to those in ownership of devices running older versions of the search giant's ubiquitous software. Although the Google Keyboard 3.1 found within Android L was initially proving problematic, those in the know have fixed it all up, and it's now primed and ready for installation on any device running Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich or above.

Evolution Of Google Glass From Year 2010 To Present Day Explorer Edition [Photos]

Ben Reid·June 28, 2014
The Google Glass Explorer program has been running for the best part of a year now, and although the designs are still in the process of being tweaked, the progress that has been made since the start of Project Glass is really quite something. Despite this week's I/O conference has largely avoided the topic of the head-mounted device, the Big G did take the opportunity to showcase several prototype models in something of an evolutionary exhibition. Given that we're in attendance at I/O this week, we couldn't resist taking a few snaps, and below, you can see first-hand just how much progress has been made on Glass' design over the past few years.

Creators Of Siri Have Made A New ‘Kasisto’ Virtual Assistant For Business Users

Ben Reid·June 28, 2014
Siri, which first emerged alongside the iPhone 4s back in 2011, looks set to be taking on a more significant role in Apple's product line-up with the introduction of HomeKit, HealthKit and CarPlay, to name a few, and although the early buzz regarding the voice assistant has naturally died down, the technology continues to advance. Now, having helped Apple implement voice recognition software into the iOS device range, the team behind the original Siri technology is taking a stab at an entirely new demographic by introducing Kasisto, a similar product to Siri aimed squarely at the business side of things.
