The iPhone 6 must go down as one of the most-leaked products in tech history, and since the manufacturing process commenced a short while ago, we've been able to get right into the guts of Apple's next big thing. Today, we get a look at what is claimed to be the device's logic board, and although the much-hyped A8 processor is obscured from view, the fact that it's almost fully assembled presents us with our first proper look at what will be one of smartphone's most crucial components.

Having finally showcased the Galaxy Alpha smartphone earlier on this week, the next major release from Samsung will be the Galaxy Note 4. Set to be unveiled at the confirmed Unpacked event in Berlin on September 3rd, the phablet will apparently pack a sharper, quad-HD display among a number of other improvements and perks. In order to ramp up hype in China for the next-gen handset, the Korean company has released a teaser trailer, with reports also suggesting that posters relating to the forthcoming device have also begun cropping up around mainland China.
Further to our tutorial earlier this week, which outlined the steps on how you could continue sending Facebook messages on mobile without having to download the specific app created by the social company for this very purpose, a few of you got back to us via the comments and tips with another method for those on iOS and Android. Last year's announcement and subsequent release of the iPhone 5s brought quite a few surprises along with it. It was a first in the smartphone industry, and while we expect the iPhone 6 to follow suit sometime next month, it also won't be too long before Android L releases adopt 64-bit SoCs as standard.
As well as the Samsung Galaxy Note 4, which the Korean company is expected to unveil on September 3rd, smartphone fans will also be keeping their eyes out for the Apple iPhone 6. If you've guessed who we're talking about, then you'll probably know of his high standards in concept design, and if you want to see what the iPhone 6 may look like mid-unboxing, join us after the break.

Thanks to the likes of Google Play Music, accessing the content of our favorite artists and bands is now much easier than ever. Although many of us now utilize services like Spotify in order to stream music, the art of buying a song we happen to like is not completely obsolete, and in the case of Google Play Music's new freebie offer, you don't always have to stump up any money. For a presumably limited time, you can pick up full songs from artists like Katy Perry and Daft Punk completely free, and given that we don't know how long the offer's going to last, you'll want to get in quickly to avoid disappointment.
Of all the iPhone 6-related leaks we've had over the past few months, the rear shell has been a recurring one, presenting us with a fairly solid idea of what to expect from the upcoming handset's form factor. Until the manufacturing process apparently began just a short while ago, we were only really seeing mockups and case molds, but in recent times, we've had first-hand glimpses at what is claimed to be the iPhone 6's actual back cover. Now, in some of the clearest shots to date, we get up close and personal with the silver model of the forthcoming Apple smartphone, offering one or two previously unseen details.
Microsoft's Windows update schedule has been much more frequent over the past few years, with the software giant looking to maintain a solid experience for users while the plans for significant feature implementations are made. Today, as a part of a move to bring monthly house-keeping improvements, the 'August Update' for Windows 8.1 has been rolled out. Naturally, the tweaks are relatively minor, and below, we'll run through everything that Microsoft has bundled into this release.
