Apple just rolled out a fresh app called Invites, and it’s here to rescue you from chaotic group chats and last-minute planning panic.
Whether it’s a birthday bash, a baby shower, or a grad party, this app wants to be your go-to wingman for organizing and remembering the good times.
Here’s the scoop: Invites lets you craft snazzy digital invites using photos from your camera roll or fun emoji-themed backgrounds. Worried about guests getting lost? The app automatically adds Maps directions and weather updates.
More excitingly, there’s some Apple magic here. If you’re stuck brainstorming, Apple Intelligence tools like Image Playground let you type a silly idea to generate custom artwork. And if your invite wording sounds like a robot wrote it, Writing Tools helps you tweak it to sound more “you.”
Guests can RSVP with a tap, and you’ll actually know who’s coming. Once the party starts, everyone can add tracks to a shared Apple Music playlist and toss pictures/videos into a group album. It’s like the party keeps going long after the cake’s gone.
Now, the catch: To create invites, you’ll need iCloud+, Apple’s paid storage plan starting at $0.99/month. However, anyone can respond to the RSVP. The app itself is free to download, but only works on iPhones running iOS 18 or newer.
