Apple Agrees To Pay iPhone Users Of These Models After It Lost $250 Million Lawsuit On Delayed Siri Features

Apple has agreed to pay a total of $250 million to settle a class action lawsuit in the United States.

The suit related to delayed Siri iPhone features that had been announced but have so far failed to ship. As part of the settlement, eligible iPhone users could receive up to $95 each.

The lawsuit comes after Apple announced new Siri capabilities during its WWDC 2025 event in June of that year. The new Apple Intelligence features would allow Siri to understand what was shown on the iPhone’s display as well as more personal user context. It would also be able to interact with apps in a way not previously possible.

However, those features have so far not shipped. Apple delayed the launch of the new personalized Siri in March 2025, with the class action lawsuit following. It was alleged that Apple used false advertising when it debuted the Siri features and then never shipped them.

To be eligible for a portion of the settlement, you need to have purchased any iPhone 15 Pro or iPhone 16 model between June 10, 2024 and March 29, 2025. Buyers of the following iPhones are eligible:

  • iPhone 15 Pro
  • iPhone 15 Pro Max
  • iPhone 16
  • iPhone 16e
  • iPhone 16 Plus
  • iPhone 16 Pro
  • iPhone 16 Pro Max

A settlement website will likely be made available in due course where eligible class members can submit their claim.
